Celebrate Fifes and Drums’ 50th Anniversary with Drummer’s Call in Williamsburg, VA. Colonial Williamsburg’s Fifes and Drums mark their 50th anniversary with a year of special events, beginning with Drummer’s Call this weekend, May 16-18. The three-day muster will see fife and drum units from across North America, and Williamsburg alumni will reunite to march and play. The Colonial
Williamsburg Fifes and Drums – also known as the Field Music of the Virginia State Garrison Regiment – carries forward the tradition of military music. Since 1958, visitors in the Historic Area have enjoyed the musical performances and experienced the history of America’s Revolution.

After you have enjoyed watching this wonderful display, don’t forget to stop by the Village at Quarterpath, new homes located in the City of Williamsburg. The Village at Quarterpath is located 2 blocks from the Historical Area on Route 60 and Quarterpath road. Our townhomes are now ready and now you can live steps to history at the Village of Quarterpath!
